Individual, Couples and Family Counseling Services

The Family Counseling Center provides professional therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Macon and Warner Robins. Our trained therapists address challenges such as relationships, parenting, depression, and substance abuse, offering affordable and confidential care to help you start your journey to healing.

Adoption and Custody Home Evaluations

The Family Counseling Center conducts professional home evaluations required by Superior Courts for adoption or custody changes. Serving several counties in Central Georgia, these evaluations provide essential information to help judges make informed decisions about the best interests of the child.

Victim Counseling

The Family Counseling Center provides free professional counseling for crime victims and their families, helping them navigate the emotional and psychological challenges following a traumatic event. This service is available at no charge to individuals with a relevant police report, offering a safe space to begin healing.

Families in Transition (F.I.T.)

The Families in Transition (F.I.T.) program is designed for parents of minor children navigating divorce, separation, custody changes, or other significant family structure changes. This class focuses on helping parents co-parent effectively while addressing the emotional and developmental needs of their children.

Fees and Accessibility

The Family Counseling Center is committed to making services accessible to everyone.

Many programs are free for eligible participants, such as victims of crime, public housing residents, and those receiving government assistance. For others, fees are based on annual family income and household size.

Our goal is to ensure no one is turned away due to financial constraints.
