Individual, Couples and Family Counseling Services

The Family Counseling Center provides professional therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Macon and Warner Robins. Our trained therapists address challenges such as relationships, parenting, depression, and substance abuse, offering affordable and confidential care to help you start your journey to healing.

Adoption and Custody Home Evaluations

The Family Counseling Center conducts professional home evaluations required by Superior Courts for adoption or custody changes. Serving several counties in Central Georgia, these evaluations provide essential information to help judges make informed decisions about the best interests of the child.

Victim Counseling

The Family Counseling Center provides free professional counseling for crime victims and their families, helping them navigate the emotional and psychological challenges following a traumatic event. This service is available at no charge to individuals with a relevant police report, offering a safe space to begin healing.

Client Advocacy Services

The Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia offers the unique service of client service advocacy. A Client Advocate helps families and individuals navigate the potential supports and systems to help achieve holistic health and goals.

Families in Transition (F.I.T.)

The Families in Transition (F.I.T.) program is designed for parents of minor children navigating divorce, separation, custody changes, or other significant family structure changes. This class focuses on helping parents co-parent effectively while addressing the emotional and developmental needs of their children.

Fees and Costs:

You may be eligible for free services if:

  • Victims of crime.
  • Individuals and families impacted by incarceration.
  • Individuals and families currently receiving public assistance in Bibb County or the city of  Warner Robins.
  • Individuals with no income.
  • Other grant services available, please call for eligibility options.

Other fees based on family income and the size of the household.

Clients who are court mandated to complete counseling sessions are not eligible for free services until required sessions are completed.

Eligibility:

  • No outside referral necessary.
  • No eligibility requirements.

A staff member will discuss your specific concerns and help you determine your options.

Accessing Services:

Scheduling an appointment is easy—just call our Macon office at 478-745-2811 or our Warner Robins office at 478-918-0663. No referral is required, and there are no eligibility restrictions.

Employee Assistance Program:

Workers employed by companies with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can access therapy through their employer’s benefits. Check with your HR department for details.

Confidentiality:

All services are strictly confidential, adhering to both legal and ethical standards to ensure your privacy.

Year-Round Availability:

Our therapy services are available throughout the year. Please call for scheduling details and availability.
